In November, Solarfields Nederland has started the construction of the largest solar carport worldwide in the parking lots of Lowlands in Biddinghuizen. From May 2021, 90,000 solar panels will supply green electricity for about 10,000 households. Or in 'festival language': this equates the power consumption of about 100 festival weekends per year.
